As a doctor of forensic psychology, I already knew how important a caregiver’s mental health was, but when I became a mom, I realized that importance firsthand and the huge impact sleep has on overall well-being. 

When my first daughter was 8 months old, I had been up throughout the night, every night, due to exclusively pumping and playing the “paci wars game” (as I used to call it). I was so sleep-deprived, exhausted, and frustrated, I thought I was going to lose my mind. Not to mention my physical health was suffering. After finally finding information that the pacifier needed to go and we needed to work on independent sleep, I still wasn’t sure how to go about it.

Once I pieced together information from across the internet and sleep-trained my girl, I had such a positive shift in my life — my emotions, my health (physical and mental), and the version of myself as a parent. I immediately knew I wanted to pair my real-life experience as a mom with my psychology background to start helping other families solve their sleep issues one-on-one.

That’s when I found there was an important component missing from so much of the sleep information online — a personal touch that helps you feel supported while helping you understand how tactics and processes may need to be tweaked depending on the baby and parent. So many methods are cut and dry instead of easing into a process that can be delicate. Now, I’ve paired the most impactful sleep training methods with my years of experience helping hundreds of families one-on-one and my experience as a mother to create my signature 14-day program, the Sleepfull Method™. 

My method educates parents on how to change their behavior to support their children as they learn independent sleep, so the whole family can begin resting well to wake up feeling fully restored. My goal is always to support parents and caregivers with a judgment-free, compassionate approach that leads to real results and happier, more rested children. I want you to feel empowered to make the choice that’s best for your family.

In January 2021, I joined forces with my sister Sydney, an experienced marketer, who realized how beneficial sleep training was after having her daughter. She knew that between my expertise working 1-1 as a sleep consultant and her experience in marketing, we could do big things and help thousands of families begin sleeping well again so they could wake up ready to pour from a full cup. Now, we’ve been working together to take Sleepfull to the next level by creating courses and more content to help parents in all aspects of their journey — even expanding into a line of products.
